Individual Therapy

You might be experiencing:

  • Constant overthinking or difficulty “turning off” your mind

  • Intrusive thoughts that feel scary, confusing, or out of character

  • Panic attacks or sudden waves of anxiety

  • Feeling hyper-aware of your emotions or body sensations

  • Perfectionism or pressure to always hold things together

  • Burnout, exhaustion or feeling stretched too thin

  • Fear that something might be “wrong” with you or your mental/physical health

These experiences are far more common than you might think, especially for people who are used to being thoughtful, conscientious, and high functioning.

How Therapy Can Help

Our work together focuses on helping you change your relationship with anxiety rather than constantly fighting it. We will work on understanding how your mind and nervous system have become stuck in patterns of fear and over-monitoring, and how those patterns can gently begin to unwind.

My approach integrates evidence-based treatment for anxiety and OCD, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with nervous system education, mindfulness, and practical tools that help you step out of anxious loops.

Over time, many clients begin to experience:

  • Less reactivity to anxious thoughts and sensations

  • More trust in their minds and emotions

  • A quieter, more spacious mental landscape

  • Greater ability to stay present and engaged in their lives

The goal isn’t to eliminate every anxious thought and sensation - it’s to anxiety lose its grip so you can live with more freedom and ease.

What it’s Like to Work Together

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to being the one who has everything together. If you’re curious about working together, I offer a brief consultation call where we can talk about what you’re experiencing and see if it feels like a good fit.

You don’t have to keep navigating anxiety, panic and intrusive thoughts alone.
